About Credit Beacons

Founded by someone who has walked the road you’re on

Credit Beacons was born from lived experience—from knowing exactly what it feels like to need help, and wishing someone had been there to give it.

Meet the founder

Linda Larry

Founder, Credit Beacons

“I have a passion for helping people because I was once one of those people—and I wish someone had helped me.”

Linda Larry, Founder

I started a nonprofit organization to help the less fortunate—because I was once one of those people myself. I know how heavy it feels when the bills pile up, when your credit holds you back, and when it seems like there’s no one in your corner.

I started Credit Beacons to change that for other people. My goal is to help you become credit-savvy and aware of just how much credit plays an important role in our lives—where you can live, what you can borrow, the opportunities that open or close because of a number most people were never taught to understand.

I do this work with my whole heart because I’ve lived it. Every person I sit with, I see a little of my own story. That’s why there’s no judgment here, only understanding—and a real plan to move you forward.

Credit is only part of the picture, though. I also focus on homeless and displaced youth, providing food, clothing, and resources to them and their families. Lifting people up—financially and in the everyday things that matter—is the whole reason Credit Beacons exists.

Giving back

More than credit—community

Alongside credit counseling, Linda leads nonprofit work supporting homeless and displaced youth—providing food, clothing, and resources to them and their families. It’s the same belief that drives everything here: when someone is struggling, they deserve a hand up, not a lecture.

  • Food & essentials

Meeting immediate needs for youth and families with dignity.

  • Clothing

Seasonal clothing and everyday basics for those without.

  • Resources & guidance
